Share your story
Survived a close call? Lost someone to the heat? Saw something that should be in the archive? Help us count what the state won’t.
We want accounts from the people closest to the danger. You do not need perfect dates, paperwork, or legal language. Tell us what you know in your own words.
What we’re looking for
- Close calls: heat illness, collapse, confusion, vomiting, cramping, or a day when you knew the job had become dangerous.
- Memorials: the story of a worker lost during or after heat exposure — including deaths recorded as cardiac arrest, kidney failure, or “natural causes.”
- Tips and leads: a name, jobsite, news report, OSHA record, or incident the archive should investigate.
